TIPS, Team for Improving Productivity at Stanford, is a Stanford Staff forum with over 1,000 members representing a wide variety of Stanford organizations. Celebrating its 30 year anniversary during academic year 2017/2018, TIPS was formed in 1987 so that Stanford staff members could input to Stanford procedures and methodologies.
The TIPS Council is made up of TIPS Core Representatives who are generally senior level staff appointed by their Stanford Deans or Vice Presidents to understand and improve processes within their own organization and across Stanford. The TIPS Council is a Stanford-wide resource for identifying and addressing process needs and solutions.
TIPS meetings are open to ALL Stanford employees. Meetings are panels or discussions with Stanford decision makers on possible process improvements to projects and programs. 2017-2018 TIPS Meeting Dates:
November 15, 2017; January 17, 2018; March 21, 2018; May 16, 2018 and July 18, 2018
