TIPS — Team for Improving Productivity at Stanford — is a staff-based organization for achieving productivity gains at Stanford. TIPS' primary goal is to advise and influence Stanford leadership on the development and implementation of processes and procedures that support the needs of the academic and administrative units that TIPS represents.
TIPS has over 1,000 members representing a wide variety of Stanford organizations and was formed in 1987 so that Stanford staff members could provide input to Stanford procedures and methodologies.
TIPS meetings are open to ALL Stanford employees. Meetings are open forums with Stanford decision makers on possible process improvements to projects and programs.
See "Agenda and Minutes" for more details on meetings and to access presentations and recordings.
